When you activate remote support, you will need to download a small piece of software and run it on your PC. Depending on the web browser you use, you will see a message box something like the following:
In Internet Explorer:
Click Run to continue with the download. You may also be presented with the following dialog box once the software has finished downloading:
Click Run again to start the software and begin your remote support session. A new window will pop up which will connect to our system. Please wait for a technician to answer your request. The support window looks like this:
In Mozilla Firefox:
In Firefox the software download message will look something like this:
Click Save File and then run the downloaded file once it has completed. All other steps are as above for Internet Explorer.
